Concept

Safety, convenience, and comfort even as you savor wild nature.
A base for fun offering year-round enjoyment in a variety of styles.

Yamanohaco, located in the Hirugano Highlands, is a campsite jam-packed with the ideals of its caretaker, who loves camping herself.

Here you can enjoy the goodness of vast nature to the fullest, of course, and the area has complete Wi-Fi coverage, for an environment where you connect quickly and smoothly whenever you need to work or want to check something out. The caretaker is resident on-site, lending a feeling of security.

The Hirugano Highlands are held to be especially rich in seasonal changes, even for Japan. In wintertime in particular, the area finds use by people who enjoy winter sports at the many nearby ski resorts. Located in such rich natural surroundings, Yamanohaco warmly welcomes visitors from overseas as well. We hope you savor the appeal of seasonal changes that can be experienced only in Japan and have a special stay.

Seasonal events are also held, including firefly-watching in the summer and making snow candles in the winter.

At Yamanohaco, you can spend time and engage in fun activities in a diverse range of styles, and we invite you to make it your base for fully experiencing the vast natural surroundings of the Hirugano Highlands.
